We (tidewater216, hydrotherapy & I) marked plenty of bait and
fish, but the fish had lockjaw…

yup me too , i threw a net on them and packed a cooler full of monster menhaden for winter catfishing , the only good thing i suppose. Two trips two skunks , i think i’m gonna stick to lake marion :slight_smile:
I’m kinda glad you didn’t tear them up lyn , at least i know it wasn’t what i was doing , that was the problem :

I hope I don't see a trend starting here! I got skunked Sun. morning, 'cept for the big cats. And you 2 this week..I saw a few guide boats{5} up the channel on the Bonn. side on Sun. AND they stayed there for quite sometime. HHMMMM??? The bait I caught on Sun. wasnt worth the effort to throw the sabiki more than 4x to. SMALL!! And to top it off> nothing would touch it.:angry:

Sorry to hear about the slow fishing. What’s the water temp. down to anyway? And, if anyone should get some extra menhaden, I’ll gladly take some off your hands (48qts. worth). I’m almost out of the ones I just caught already! Have a safe Thanksgiving and save some for me! Be back on the water Dec. 2nd!

Don't know what the temp is, sorry.. I havent hooked-up my new f/finder yet. Been sitting in the box for 2 weeks. BUT I "HAD TO HAVE IT"....[:I]

The surface temp around the dam is between 52 and 53 degrees…

Thanks Lynn. Remmember to really stop ,not only today ,but, everyday and be on your knees thankful for what each of us have.
