Lake Moultrie Saturday Night 11-22

Lock Jaw:roll_eyes:!
I was out between 1730-2100hr with 4 other boats turning circles around the dam. We saw plenty of bait, but to my understanding none of us saw any action. When I was launching my boat the guy coming out said he didn’t catch any fish.
Water was calm but very cold with just a little wind.

I have a plan:sunglasses:, I’m going to wait till one of you guys make a post saying THE FISH ARE BITEING, then I’m going to call in sick and see if it’s me or the fish.

Go tomorrow night! They will be biting! I plan on getting my limit! The wind is supposed to be perfect tomorrow night…

PERFECT? WHAT? 25 KNOTS?:stuck_out_tongue: I went out this a.m. early.. Bait was alittle hard to find, just because they weren't in their usual spot, and they were VERY small. NO bites on the live bait but picked-up some nice cats on shrimp. FYI>The bait was in the last grate towards s/s and I mean ALOT of bait...Good Luck

I like it windy, cold and rough! I don’t even mind water coming over the bow a bit![:0] I have had my best nights on those nights when you will find no one else out there.

mckee1mckee, I have caught a lot of fish where you are talking about. With a strong West wind, the bait is pushed to that area around the last bouy and down the dike. When it is calm, I have had more luck out away from the dam. As I have said before, I only get lucky every now and then! I’ll take luck over skill on any day that ends with a ā€œYā€.:wink:
