Well, the catching was not so good. I live bait fished for a few hours with only a few bites. I then went to trolling. I caught an eight pound cat and a little later a 21 1/4" striper on a Stretch 30. I was marking plenty of fish, but I couldn’t buy a hit. I was also trolling seven lures. Is S/Stay still open to the public? The Mrs. wants to go BAD on Fri. nite.. {GOTTA LOVE IT} Sure is closer than Atkins. AND she's willing to get EVERTHING ready and WAITING for when I get home from work. {this I gotta see}
I have been using Atkins. I was told they might keep SS open to the public until May, depending on business. Will you be trolling Friday night?

Not 100% sure. I'll prob. keep an eye on you and do what you do [:I]:smiley:..I'll prob. get some live bait early and hold on to them and troll for the first few passes. Then, {see above}:smiley:
If it is not too crowded, I will run a rope from the hydro grating to the handrail about a third of the way up the wall and position my boat along the rope. I don’t have a trolling motor, so that is the only way I can live bait fish. You can always hook up to my rope also. I usually do that until they quit pulling water, then I go to trolling. Hopefully they will be in a biting mood
