Lake Moultrie Thursday Night 12-11

Well, I braved the small tropical storm last night for a couple of hours. I didn’t get skunked![:0] Though I only caught 1 kitty around 15 to 20lbs. I was marking plenty of bait and fish ,but the fish still had a severe case of the lock jaw!:angry: It wan’t too bad once the rain stopped. With the wind gusting to at least 30 to 35 mph, that rain feels like acupuncture. It’s real fun when you have to give the motor 2 to 3 times the throttle just to maintain 2mph. I haven’t been in a while, so I had to try. I was hoping with the little rise in the water temp and the storms, that I may have got lucky. You just never know unless you go!! They probably went to biting after I left!![:0]

Hey Lynn my brother and i went out fri night , expecting 5-10mph , but found 15-20 coming across the lake and banging directly into the ■■■■ , you know what that means 3ftrs plus the rebound. We tried to brave it for an hr with no results and it was getting worse. Washing machine tossing us around nicely. Called it a night i don’t think lake moultrie likes me. either flat calm or crazy waves – can’t find the sweet spot. Guess i now know why the boat ramp was empty fri night. You can’t be called a tough guy unless you fished moultrie fri night hehehehe.

Togh like nails! I’ve been wanting to go try it, but decided to get some stuff done on the boat and around the house. Taking my dad for some sea bass and bottom fishes Wednesday. Calling for 3-5’ @ 12 seconds…We’ll see how the 'ol bayboat and old man do! Appreciate the e-mails and keep in touch!

No problem on the emails, I thought you could appreciate them!

About that first night we fished, I told you I had to break you in good!

I wouldn’t mind bottom bumping, but I think I might just go up to the lake Wednesday to see if I can get in on the crappie action that I have heard about lately.
