We started live bait fishing around the dam and caught 4 nice ones in a couple of hours. A couple of them were over 32". After they quit pulling water it was hard to catch bait. The gar were taking our bait anyways, so we decided to troll. We only had one little bump even though we gave the fish ample opportunity (8 lines):smiley:. At least we caught a couple of Moultrie hogs :wink: and were not skunked. Marked lots of fish off and on, here and there. They just had a case of lock jaw. There’s always next time…

Are you still fishing late nite?

We caught them on live bait before 2200. I may go tonight if anyone is interested in going. If I go by myself, I will probably just troll. Email me if you want to go. Right now it looks like I’ll be solo unless someone is available.

went friday and sat nite. Caught 1 7-6lbs friday nite and same on sat.nite. All on live bait. will try trolling next time.
