Well, the only striper I saw were the ones in my spotlight’s beam out away from the dam. 
I did catch a few cats trolling (biggest around 30lbs.). There was no real schools of bait around the dam. Saw plenty of gar and needle fish. There were a few nice splashes around the dam, but I didn’t get a look to see what they were. Still, a little early.
