I have been fishing 4 times since the last time I had ANY luck catching striper. I have caught a few big cats though . Last Friday night I had a couple of hits and saw 3 or 4 striper plain as day turn right at the boat and saw and heard plenty of other big splashes. I believe that they are still there because of actually seeing them and marking plenty of fish on my unit. I guess I have lost the ability to hold my mouth right since SanteeCarl bragged on me so much . Anybody want to go tomorrow night with me if I go. I can’t guarantee we’ll catch but we’ll give it our all. It is going to be a little windy. I think it calling for SouthWest wind 15-20. That is actually ok since the wall will block the wind. If it stays that way there will only be a little ripple to light chop which I like to have anyway. If anyone is interested, contact me through this site.
Well, I had a good time. Tidewater216 met me at the landing and we fished for a few hours with no strikes at all . After he left I fished for another 30 to 45 minutes then decided I might as well head home myself. We marked plenty of fish but they all had lock-jaw. Looking forward to fishing with tidewater216 again in the future.
At least your getting out there. That tri-hull of mine beats me to death with this wind! I just sit here and live vicariously thru you guys. And, if all else fails, Captain D's "3 from the sea" 6.50 w/ a water..:wink: Hope to see you guys out there this weekend. {On the water, not the resturant.}

Lynn, did the wind laydown like you expected? Did the dam give you the buffer you were looking for, is what I mean..
Yeah man, it was nice trolling on the hydro side of the dam. I should have stayed and maybe the rain might have helped with the bite, or I might have just got wet…
