It was a beautiful night on the water. My buddy and I caught 2 keepers live bait fishing. While we were live bait fishing, our third keeper swam up right beside the boat and I scooped him up in the net. That was only the second time I have seen that done.
After they quit pulling water we started trolling. We caught five more keepers. It was another night of poor hook sets it seems because we lost over twice what we caught. Still marking plenty of fish and there is a ton of bait all over the place. I hope to get back out there soon. They should be making their journey soon.

LYNN, Just wondering, are you using lites while fishing?

No I don’t use any lights.
