Lake Moultrie Wednesday Night 11-19

Well, the Good Lord blessed my boat yet again! I met up with Tidewater216 at the landing and we had a good time catching some of those pesky fish. I think we had fished less than an hour when we already had 3 keepers and missed another. We had four keepers when I took him to the hill. I then had one in the cooler when I went back out. In less than 5 minutes I lost a real bruiser. Anyways, I caught 2 more keepers a little later plus a couple shorts. After I got my limit I started to reel in my lines(5). I always keep the boat moving to keep the lines straight until I have only one or two left to reel in. While I was reeling in the first one, I got a keeper size striper on one of the other lines. I threw him back and continued to reel in the first line I was working on. While securing that rod and reel, I caught another keeper size striper on another line. I threw him back as well, took the boat out of gear, and reeled in the remaining lines. I left them biting!!

The biggest was around 30" and all were nice and fat.!!

I tried last night to focus in on the sounds of the Transsiberian Orchestra, but I couldn’t. My wife asked me if I was alright, as I looked around the coliseum all glassy eyed, maybe even watery eyed. Our first date alone since the baby was WONDERFUL, but I was waiting to hear the sounds of drags screaming rather than electric guitars and violins. The concert should have been outside in the cold and breezy night air rather than in the plush confides of the coliseum. I’m off to the doctor in a few to get checked out, to see what I’ve got…cough, cough, cough…Striperitus??? Now, how do I cure that Dr. Lynn? See ya’ll tonight!!!:stuck_out_tongue:
