Went out with Triton in his boat. We didn’t get to the bait shop in time so we set up over towards the beach and anchored up with the light in. Set up about 8:00 and fish were stacked under us with no bait. Tried a bucktail and a spoon but nothing. Didn’t think bait would have a chance to school up on the light there so we moved shallow and got some bait. Went to the towers and nothing was there. Went back to the beach area and got about 10 shorts and 1 keeper. Wind blew a lot harder than the forecast predicted.
Odd thing was the water at the beach was 67 and the water at the towers was 74. I’ve never seen water temps so different that close in the main lake.
