My brother and I got out about 6am and only stayed until 9:15am. By then we were out of the 3 Dozen Herring we started with. For those of you who know my brother his reaction time is slower then most so he had trouble setting the hook and missed 4. I ran out of Circle hooks and I normaly use those for him to help out. I had three hits one was about a 15lbs Gar, 4-6lbs pike, and a 9lbs striper. All of those were on an ultra light rod. Jason did end up getting one Striper and while it looked the same as mine…we’ll say his was a tiny bit bigger…but I sware the fish looked like twins. Anyhow two nice fish and off the water in just over 3 hours…now just to pick up some more circle hooks before I take him and we might be getting closer to the limit. I hope you kept the chain pickeral. The small ones are too bony to fool with, but the large ones are delicious. A very mild and delicate meat. If I ever catch a 6 lb one though, it is going on the wall. That is a monster sized chain pickeral.

Hey looks like it will be just me…I am thinking about Sandy Beach or near Snellgroves for starters, and then maybe later on toward the towers in a hole I heard about today. Let me know if you want to get up cell 210-5337…(People only call this if your going to talk fishing and not make stupid threats this time…please) Sorry just don’t want another trip messed up by idiots.
