Got on the water about 7:30 and found fish in the same place I’ve been fishing. First fish was a nice 22" keeper, and that was the only keeper of the night. Probably only caught . Pulled bait into the lights but it and the fish disappeared around 10:30. Searched the mouth of beaverdam, along the east side of shull, and around the islands at the mouth of Hollow and never found the fish. Heading lower next time out, maybe tomorrow. Clear skies, high pressure, east wind at 10 dropping to probably 5, 78* water.
I didn’t know you were out there. I fished down off Hollywood, but otherwaise did exactly the same with only one small keeper after dark…only defference was the bait never left on me, but the fish sure did. I wasn’t even getting small ones after a while.
I did get a few keeper size fish on top water before dark though. Then fished top water again from about 6:30 - 9 last night and got about 10. Didn’t bother measuring anything, but a few were obviously decent keepers in the 23"-24" range.
Probably try topwater again this evening for a couple of hours.

Fish were schooling shallow when I started, but they were all in the 12" range. Lots of blue flashing lights out on the lake too. I think they were pulling over every boat that passed bomb island
