Pretty good day for us. Dropped anchor in a 65 foot cut near a point a little after 7. Most fish seen were between 30 and 45 feet but we got no strikes there (as has been the case) and everything we caught was right off the bottom. While we didn’t come close to matching Taz’s 39 incher, we had 8 keepers (one 7 1/2, three 7’s, two 6’s, a 5 and a 4) and a couple shorts. About 0930 the cloud cover went away, and so did most of the fish.
