I’ve seen they knocked down the old restaurant and the construction going on and thought they were going to put condos there. Last night I ran into someone who said it’s a Liberty Tap Room they are building.
Anyone know for sure what’s going in there?

Buffalo Creek, Spinners, newer one near Blacks Bridge and Buckaroos near Adams Camp. Buffalo has best wings/ burgers on water, IMHO.
OK, so I don’t know any of the names/areas. I have been on the lake many many times but mostly in the Chapin area. I will be up there tonight and through the weekend, can you help with “where” these places are?

Buckaroos is on Dreher Island Rd heading to Dreher Island State Park from Chapin. Buffalo Creek and Spinners is west up the Saluda River from Dreher Island.
Might want to get a map…
Fishing or just cruising?
I will be in Chapin and mostly cruising with the kids and wife. I know little to nothing about fishing in fresh water, aside from worm, hook, cork.

Rental apartments. Liberty Taproom will be opening “Liberty on the Lake”. Liberty hopes to be open by the 4th of July. From what I’ve heard, the apartment residents will get first crack at slip leases so not sure how many will be left for the general public. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Great food and good service and prices at Bufflo creek. We eat there a lot during winter fishing
x2 on the Buffalo Creek. Good food but they still allow smoking so that could be an issue with kids. Spinners is private. The Quarterdeck at Lighthouse is ok. I would try Buffalo if for lunch or early evening.

The Fishermans Warf on the Gilbert part of the lake is a good family atmosphere. It’s next to South shore Marine and Captian’s Choice Marine. If you have GPS 34 01’ 16.05"N : 81 26’ 17.11"W at the dock.
