Took the kids out planning to catch some perch in a creek I found them in 2 weeks ago. Bought 2 dozen shad to pull while perching just in case. No perch so we went striper fishing. I let the kids bring in all the fish so we only landed 8 with 4 keepers. Shorts were all 20.5" and we definitely lost more than we landed. Left them biting at 4:30 with the kids wore out.
