Took off from the house at 8am when the fog and heavy misting rain lifted enough that I wouldn’t get ran over. Dropped a bucktail jig and a smokey shad rattle trap behind the boat and pulled them at 2.1 mph for about an 1 1/2 hrs. Caught 1 yellow perch all morning. Trolled from Dreher Isl. to Spinikers. No luck. Will try again a little later. Will let you guys know if they pick up.

fish should be hitting pretty good. went last saturday and caught around 10 before the rain ran me and the boy off the lake. dyin to get back out there, good possiblity i will try it in the morning if they don’t call me in. from what i hear from some others is they are catching fish too; but we are draggin live baits and not artificals.
me and a buddy picked up 20 with 4 keepers night fishing last friday. pulling live bait over deep water. Caught fish from the surface to 35’.
hey crackernecker; you might have fished lake murray but the pic is in the salts. i do not seem to be able to find pluff mud and reeds like that around dreher island. LOL LOL
