Can anyone give any idea as to where some fish may be? I’ve read that the bass guys have been catching them fairly shallow. My question is what part of the lake? Around Dreher island?
I went Wednesday morning and the weather was great other then a little cold. We tried all the big coves right of Goat Island. Word had it that a bunch of fish were still down on this end of the lake, but I hate to say other the two short fish, one just over 21, and a bunch of Pike we didn’t find much. I even tried going out to a few of my favorite down rod spots and drifted down rods just before calling it a day. So if anyone is getting them free lineing I’d love to hear about it. My best trip numbers wise this year so far has been about six over 22inchs…not a bad start, but nothing to brag about either. So question is…is anyone reading this catching the limit on a regular basis? Heck I wont even ask your spots I just want to see if I’m coming up short or we are all getting about the same.
