if you fish on Friday sleep on the boat and fish Saturday. limit both days is there a problem with having ten fish on board? don’t want no trouble

You would need to offload the fish caught Friday by midnight before starting with a fresh limit Saturday. I think you’re ok with a cooler in your tow vehicle. I would call the DNR to be sure.

Actually, fishing after midnight Friday until right around sunrise (1 hour before?) Saturday is still considered Friday as far as limits go.

That is correct … the limits are based upon a full 24 hour period from sunrise to sunrise …

hey ya’ll,
didn’t make it on Friday work got in the way but, did fish Saturday at the ramp at daybreak got away from the crowd found some fish around Brundrick Island In 40 ft. and later in the big pool Jakes side same depth. No big fish but some nice fish sandwiches brought home seven fish. first trip on the new to me boat 20’ grady white cc ran great and got the stink out, had a good day. thanks for all the info on this site and the help. live herring and 8" flutter spoon worked for us
