We camper at Wateree State Park last week, did some fishing & some relaxing. Because of the wind it was too chilly for the kids to enjoy the water but they still had fun fishing & riding bikes.
Fish didn’t do as well as I hoped, most likely due to the North winds all week. Went out 3 days; got around 25 each of the 1st two days & 10 or so the last day. My son caught the biggest at 15#, all caught on shrimp & cut bait. Hope to give it a try next month as the moon grows again and hopefully the wind will be better.
