Wife, son and I plan to fish it. We’ll be in the TriToon for this one.

I see it’s the 16th, but is that the start day or weigh in day. When does the tournament begin?

8PM Sat nite till 8AM Sun

You can sign up right up until the start. I’m going to see how the weather forecast is looking on Saturday afternoon. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna fish though and just expect to have to pull to the shore a couple of times if the storms are moving through.

$75/boat (4 fish I think?), $50 big fish

Richard is trying something different for weigh-in. You can weigh 5 fish, however, you must submit 1 fish for the big fish pot and the remaining 4 are submitted for the total weight purse. SCDNR laws apply. Lines in at 8PM Saturday 7-16, lines out 8AM Sunday 7-17, Scales open at 8:30AM at Lake World, must be checked in by 9AM to avoid DQ. Registration open until 8PM 7-16.

Well I got two other guys to form a team so I’m in. It’s always good to have an excuse to fish all night long.

Anybody know how many boats are expected to fish?

You can probably check with Richard to see how many are signed up, but I would expect there’s a good number of people who won’t sign up until tomorrow since there is really no advantge to signing up early and the weather has been so iffy lately. For once the forecast actually took a chnage for the better and it’s now looking like it’s going to be a beautiful night to be on the lake…full moon, near 0 chance of rain and a low of 68. I gave up paying any attention at all to the night time wind forecast

I believe the LW tournament back in the spring had just shy of 30 boats.

dernflatlander, are many of your MSC buddies fishing?
