Lake World

Hi everyone, I read but don’t often post anything because I don’t want to appear to be advertising my business but I have been told of a rumor that I would like to address. Lake World is not being sold, closing or going out of business. We are two months shy of 31 years in business and we look forward to many more years of serving our customers. We are so lucky to spend our lives doing what we love and having the best friends and customers anyone could want. To celebrate we are having a free white perch tournament with prizes and a fish fry on Sat Nov 22. Please call the store for details if you’d like to participate. Thanks Richard

No worries, Richard …

Always glad to have an establishment such as yours in the area …

Now, I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t frequent Lake World as often as I should … but, I’m glad you have been and will be here to stay …

Always important to keep the local guys in business …

To be honest, I had not heard anything (and I hear a lot) to that effect … in fact, only place I’ve seen closing is Dooley’s on 378 … but if I do hear anything I’ll let them know that isn’t the case …

Tight Lines and keep up the great work!!!

… it’s my Wife’s fault we HAVE to fish !!!

I have not heard anything either. I would also like to add that besides bait, Lake world has everything a striper fisherman would need. All the right terminal tackle, lures, and just about anything you might need. There is a lot of stuff packed in that small shop. Richard is also a fisherman and is willing to help you out. Looks like I will get a job offer today and be gone in two weeks. I will miss going to lake world and talking with Richard, he is a good man.

Richard does seem to be a good man- I don’t know him well but he is always friendly and helpful…as are the other people working the counter when he’s gone. (Sorry, don’t know their names)
I don’t get down to that end of the lake much at all (especially by truck- normally it’s by boat) but when I do, I stop in and buy a few things. Great selection. Good advice and not bad prices for local.
BTW- I never heard those closing rumors either, but unlike Lawcrusher, I don’t hear much.

I have always tried to purchase all my equipment from Lake World and believe in supporting local business. The information I have received over the years has been priceless.

Keep up the good work Richard, thoughts and prayers to Donna !!!

Grats on your 31 year anniversary for Lake World, and it all started with River World.

You and Donna should be proud of what y’all have built.
