Has anyone fished Lake Wylie for stripers??? You read reports of people catching them “behind the dam,” and im guessing that means in the Catawba River. Any in the main lake??? If so how to you go about catching them? Thanks…

Yes Tyler, there are stripers in the lake. I never really fished for them but have fished several crappie tournaments and could’nt resist catching a few when they started breaking early in the morning.

Not very often anymore. I do very little freshwater since the salt got in my blood. And to answer your question, yes, I do know everything. If you dont beleive me, just ask me. 
And where you been for over a week? Its not like you to leave a post unattended for this long.

I was fishing for most of the time actually. Do you know the neighborhood in Fort Mill by chance Balywick? If so i fished those 2 ponds the past week and caught a 4 1/2 pounder out of one of them yesterday late afternoon. The other time i was figuring out how to catch or where to even start to try and fish for those stripers. I dont think ive ever seen them on the sufurce. I always hear “behind the dam.” Well damnit whats that mean? In the Catawba River?
