Land Based Shrimping

Was coming in for a vacation next week and thought it might be fun to take the wife out with my cast net and try for a few shrimp. Not looking to fill a cooler (or even a bucket) but have a shot at a couple dozen. We don’t have a boat and she gets sea sick if she even looks at one anyway.

Was wondering where might be a likely place to toss out the net and maybe find a few?

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll leave the net at home this time around. Was not sure when they were in the most, I’ll have to get there in the fall sometime.
