finnally had a weather day were we didn’t get hammered. ride out at 40kts on smooth seas. dropped in lines @ 120’ based on recent reports. weeds and lots of bait and put two gaffers in the boat, tired of pulling weeds and went out to the ledge were it was slow. made the call to go deep and ended up out past the 380 in 1500’. had a triple knockdown and landed this brut on a bamf lure my son gave me and the capt. didn’t want to put out because it didn’t have a hoo on it! now he won’t give it back!
ended up with 8 nice fish and a great ride in aboard the seadog with capt jimmy. auggiedog,jeff and carl.
made it to the landing this morning to go diving and had to call the trip with 3.3’@ 3sec at the 41004.
