I noticed while gigging this past weekend a few very large shrimp near the banks. Thought it was early for that but prob. explains why I’ve had trouble catching fish with minnows. Is this a particular type of shrimp?

They are row shrimp! Got my post card from DNR, commercial season opened Sat. the 20th.
