Talley was 9 or 10 flounder, 1 trout, 15 or so redfish, and a couple sheepshead for good measure…couldn’t find a black drum to complete the grand slam.
Highlights: DC’s first slam, red on a gulp, most redfish caught in a day, aaaand his first intentionally caught flounder. Congrats!
Saturday:
Fishing with SCB90210 and Rizz: Slow day. Stared off with some topwater and had a few trout eat with nothing actually put in the boat. SCB put a couple trout in the boat, coupled with a flounder then a few reds to boot. Rizz followed suit sans flounder. I unfortunatley didn’t do much with the fish other than lose a few over slot reds.
Got wet, had fun…would’nt trade it for anything…except maby less rain.
Baits: 1/4 crab, GULP 4" Shrimp (new penny), fresh dead shrimp, mud minnows, fiddler crabs, topwater, and various hard plastic sub surface lures.
Fished mostly low tide with the exception of this morning.

DNR needs to start following these guys. Not for fishing regulation reasons or boat safety reasons but, for moral reasons. Those fish are way to young to be doing what you’ll are doing to them.
