Went to locate a few more birds this morning so that my daughter can hear and hopefully get a shot at an ol’ longbeard in the morning. First bird sounded off at 6:25 and then another at 6:35, and then it became apparent that a few more birds had moved into the area. At least 4 different birds were hot this morning with an early a.m. gobble thunder storm that lasted for nearly 45 minutes. By 7:10 the last bird had hit the ground and the hens took 'em into the swamp. We will be hunting there in the morning with hopes of following the rest of these kill pics that are being posted. Gonna take her to hunt a buddy’s property this afternoon with the same agenda: Call 'em Kill 'em Cook 'em. Also came across these 4 different tracks out there check em out, they were bigger than a hound track that had walked this road as well. Tell me your thoughts.
Seen tracks like that in the FMNF before. Seen what was making them too…people will tell you they don’t exist though.
I personally have seen 2 myself, 1 in daylight chasing after our beagle and a 2nd at night in bonneau, that is what I said when I saw these tracks.
