Last minute trip

Son got back from running a race in Kiawah at noon and we decided it was too nice not to fish. Called a buddy in Beaufort who pulled his son off the golf course and headed to Edisto. Even talked the wife into joining. Left at 2 and headed for some numbers in 100ft. Were hoping to catch some triggers. First spot, small BSB. Second spot, nice BSB and a bunch of red snapper. Third spot, finally found the suspended marks I was looking for and started catching them. Some nice size ones too. Dropped the diamond jig down and got a 36" Cobia on the first drop. As soon as the sun went down the suspended fish disappeared, the triggers slowed but the vermillion turned on. Fished till 6 and then headed back. Water was so glassy you could see the reflection of the radio towers.
