Last weekend fishing with pics

Ok well last weekend was a great one with the fish! It was our first fall trip and we made it to bushy park. Tried to head to a new spot a friend showed us, but there was someone fishing it of course, so we moved further up into the creek. I am sorta glad we got to move further back, because it was totally worth it. We fished the grass/mud line with gulp with no takers. Up ahead was hard bottom/forest line, so we fished that and on the first cast I hooked up with a 22" red. First red on my new combo I got. So fishing more, no luck, and we notice another bend with the same topography. We fish that, and I catch a nice 18" red. Then our light was running our so we went to see if we could hit our spot we were originally trying to fish. We got to fish it and we caught a nice 22" red on menhaden.
On sunday, I took Stuckonland out to the same spot we found the day prior. H could not miss! He first caught his first red, a nice little 12-15 in fish. Gut hooked so no pics, we had to get em in the water. Shortly after he catches a trout. So we are telling him about inshore slams and how he needs to hook up on a flounder. No freaking joke the guy catches a flounder. His first time on a boat, he caught a inshore slam. Awesome. We move, and this time fishing with mullet, he catches a nice 21" red. Was a awesome fight on 10lb test! Then the joker catches another trout! Now he needs another flounder. He didn’t get two slams, but caught all the fish on the boat!
Here is the pics no real point in writing all of that because I know you all are going to zoom right to the pics:stuck_out_tongue:

Looks like a happy little dude. Great stuff. First timers always seem to have the luck.
