Turned out a little bumpier than expected with the bouy reading 2.4@4sec when I left the house. Rode out to 80 ft and decided to drop lines and troll the rest of the way out. Older crew was crying that they had enough. Not even a knockdown until 130 ft. Ended up with a teenager king. A bonita and a cuda. Missed a sail on the dredge and a mystery bite I think was a wahoo. Laid down nice though and rode back at 35 and never took the first bit of spray.

Left the dock at 5:15 right on time. Dropped lines in 300 ft at around 8. An hour before the first knock down that was a billfish that turned into a small shark. Guess his tail was what we though was a bill. Picked up a wahoo off the dredge about an hour after that. Shortly after we had 3 shots at a sail and missed all 3. Tons of fliers from 300 all the way into 130. Trolled the rest of the day without even a sniff at the baits. Back at the dock by 5.
Slow to say the least. I keep thinking I’m due for a stellar day soon but it can’t come soon enough.
