Was able to hit the water this afternoon for about hour plus after my weekly lab draws and couple other tbings downtown … The fish were definitely on the bite 18 Trout and 1 red… artifical bait… opening night paddle tail white 1/4 ounce jig head… slow retrieve on the slight bump if I missed the fish i just left it still for about 8 seconds and 9 times iut of 10 they had picked it up… left them biting wasn’t any sense in risking a deep hook…all releaed for another day…few pics of the evening…

I have that same net and had the same failure at the locking mechanism, it’s now zip tied as a fixed setup that luckily still fits in my front hatch
You nailed it, i through away the extension and just use the one pole lol.
