Got out after four with a strong blow of wind. First hour threw numerous pieces from swimbait to worms and a deep diver. Nothing for quite awhile and Once I started throwing on a shallow bank to a deep drop off I was pulling rat reds for about 30 mins then moved on. Back to a swimbait and picked up a flounder and now its time to concentrate on the slam. Getting late with a bright sunset and Yellowhouse not quite producing but a Nice red hits and straight into the grass. Trolled straight in the grass trying to get this nice red and managed to get it out and my boat also. what a job working an aggressive red in the grass. Now it’s really getting late and need a trout for the Slam and pulled it out
Love this time of year fishing.

Moral Kiosk I don’t quite eat that much fish. It would be hard to turn away from a flounder but most of the reds I tag or release as well as the trouts of the larger variety. I enjoy that tight line more than anything.
See you soon Optiker as well as Peapod.
