Managed to get out this evening and the wind was telling me to not go but went anyway. After awhile of casting in that wind I was thinking to head in but stuck with it and here comes a 21" trout and Fat I guess as a Rat.
So now I’m looking for flounder and red.
Got the small flounder but could not manage a Red and the sun was setting. Well I was satisfied with that Trout. Offshore finally tomorrow

Nice work! Maybe I’ll see ya offshore. I’m heading to the jetties and maybe the artificial reef if the weather is right. It’s looking pretty promising! I’ll be monitoring VHF CH16 - Call-sign “Bad Samaritan”.
Fine trout - what lure?
The 15"TL on flounder means not many being eaten by SC anglers these days.
flywatt: Caught on a gold eye 1/4oz leadhead with trout trick in about 15’ of water. This time of year I fish deep thinking that most fish are not in the cool shallow waters. Find that drop off and venture it patiently. Even the big reds are hanging deep in my experience at this time.
