Between work, school, and thesis research I have not had any time to go out fishing in far too long. Got a call from a friend that her boyfriend had never been gigging, so we met on Folly and wet a line for a little while while the tide moved out. The wind was coming from the wrong direction, but we still saw quite a few, may have stepped on a couple that we couldn’t see in deeper water. I ended up with 2, including this 21.5 incher. I had to point one out for the other guy, but I got him to stick a nice 18 incher, so all in all a good night. We recently moved to James Island, so I had never fished this side of Charleston, but it worked out pretty well for my first time out.
