Late king report

Started the season with two awesome trips on the Kings. First, late may trip (9-kings and 4-grouper plus bottomfish) second trip early june (11-kings, 2-grouper plus bottomfish). The last trip was july 5th…Zero Kings (LOL) just when I thought we were dialed-in! Think they are closer to the beaches following bait, was trolling in 65-120ft, 2-grouper still plenty of bottomfish Plan to try shallower next trip. :sunglasses:

Nice report,hope the kings are closer now, 22’ bay boat,waiting for a good day to try em out to 60’-80’. Again,thanks for report,not many on here anymore.
