Took my first summer trip of the year to catch a rockfish. Waited for the afternoon rain and wind to die down and finally got on the water around 6:30pm. Fished off main channel on humps and marked some fish suspended at 30 to 40’. Missed several but ended the night with a personal best striper at 26 pounds. Down rods and live herring from Better Bait.
