some people just can’t help themselves. my father inlaw is the same way. you tell him of your great catch and he will ALWAYS question it, size/# of fish etc. it’s just their personality. he is a chemical engineer if that sheds any light.
not trying to bust your balls reelscape, just an observation.
great catch fellas. looks like the thunderstar is putting people on fish for sure.

what is that guy holding in his left hand with the aj??

Yummy, mercury missle. Good on ya fellas. Looks like fun!

Brasco the mate said it was a big blue runner not sure what that is? We dont have a offshore boat so we just take my own rods and use the Thunderstar to get offshore, little cheaper than a charter.

That looks like a Rainbow Runner and pretty close to state record size.

That would be the best catch yet that I have seen on the Thunderstar. Good job.

Does appear to be a rainbow runner. If you still have it, throw it on a certified scale…state record is 14lbs.14oz. Looks like it may be a little lighter than that, but you never can tell.

“Never argue with an idiot…he will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.”

We have already cleaned it. Had never seen one before and had no idea about any record size. Mate said they were good eating, so they are in the freezer. Would like to have known though. Thanks.
