Very windy day. Had a buddy and son on board. The Stono was actually great and I had planned on the inlet to be fine but the Stono to be messy… totally the other way around. Got tossed around in the inlet and bailed on where I wanted to fish. Went to a spot to give us all a break from the wind and rain for a bit. Buddy “nonchalantly” pulled a 29 inch red in when about ready to head back to the ramp. We thought it was snagged and then the “snag” started pulling out line quickly. That was a nice surprise.
