Left the Marina at Edisto at 4:45 headed toward the south end of the banks. Lines in at 7. Started in about 135 ft.and immediately put a 15 lb. BFT in the boat. Stayed in the area for another 30 or so minutes and picked up another smaller BFT. Lots of down time except annoying little tunny between 135-230 then picked up a nice 55 lb. hoo. Kept heading deeper and in 350 missed a small dolphin then landed a 10 lb slinger. Lots of bait in 300-400 ft. and 73-75 degree water. It ought to go off at any time.
Congrats to Capt. Charlie “Chops” and crew on board the “new” Bad Becky for boating the first blue Marlin out of Edisto (to my knowledge). They were well South of us.
