Went Friday on a beautiful ocean headed in the direction of 226. Stopped about 15 miles short on a small but nice looking rip/weed line with flyers. First rod goes off before we can get all the lines out. Nice cow in the box. Pulled two more off that line before 5 other boats decided to see what we were doing and drop lines. Ocean is too big for that mess so we picked up and pushed out. After all was said and done we ended the day with 10 mahi in the box,three lost and a small shark on a diver plug. We moved around all day all the way out to 1500 feet. Fresh mahi ceviche, a couple cases of beer, 191 miles on the boat/110 gallons and worth every penny of not being in the office on a Friday in May.
