We fished Saturday out of Beaufort. Ended the day with 20 dolphin and 1 tuna. We had a couple of really good wahoo bites early but lost both due to bit through leaders. Most fish were caught in the green water in 220-300ft. We pushed out to blue water and found a nice temp break in the afternoon, but we didn’t get a single bite on either side of the rip.

What kind of mileage do you see with the four stroke? I’m sure it must be pretty good, I get ~3.6 w/ the two stroke.

Way to go. We fished 2 weeks ago on my Pioneer 197sf. We ran a total of 220 miles and burned 49 gallons of gas. We ran 57 miles back in at 39-42mph.
I hold 60gal. I put 107 on the clock on trip last year and burned 39. I “think” I should be good to go. Otherwise, Sea Tow to the rescue!

Sorry, I havent been on here in a few days. I was not in my 20ft. Angler. I was on a buddy’s 31 Contender. I have run it out to 150-200ft before and trolled around though. It holds 65 gallons and if I remember correctly, it burned 47 gallons on that trip.
