Ran out of MI with a good friend and was finally able to talk my dad into a trip. Left the dock at three with lines in at sunrise. Worked the ledge early part of the morning and picked up a few nice 10-20lb dolphin. Watched a 2-300lb blue throw a 10lb dolphin around like a killer whale with a baby seal for about 5 minutes and then bumped out to the 100fthm curve to find the stream edge. Worked it for the rest of the day finding pockets of nice fish for the rest of the day. Ended the day with 16 dolphin, one being a nice 46lb bull. Gorgeous water, great crew, couldn’t ask for anything more…

Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.
