ive allways wanted to catch those grass carp in the ponds on a fly but never got any luck. whats a grass carp fly look like? hook size?

I tied it on a smaller hook because they have relatively small mouths I have never caught them before though so I am unsure about them … thats a size 4 hook, tied with all ostrich herl

okay sounds good. i actually researched them on internet half of the flies are grass tied to a hook

had my cousin tie one that looked like a fish feed pellet, use it when the big carp come up to feed below the feeders… works well but end up catching more bream that anything else. probably not what you were looking for, but it works if you have an area that has a feeder and are just looking to have a big one scream some line out.
My house is protected by God and a gun, Ill introduce you to them both if you show up unwelcomed.
