Does anyone in the club pour their own lead?
I have about 15 lbs of lead in the form of various size and shaped sinkers that I’ve accumulated over the years. I’m hoping to find someone who might be willing to make a deal. I’ll give you my 15 lbs of sinkers in exchange for 5 or 6 lbs of 1 to 2 oz egg sinkers.
If anyone cares to take me up on the offer, let me know and I’ll bring it to the meeting next Tuesday.

I was very fortunate a couple of years back. A couple was moving, having a yard sale, and I bought around 150 3/4 and 1 ounce sinkers in a bucket for $10.00. I use them mainly for Carolina rigging and they have helped me catch a bunch of deep largemouth. They also come in handy on windy days. I’m hanging on to them except for loaning a few out to guys I fish with when they aren’t prepared. I got three decent bass with them today. It seems to me that yard sales are great places to find deals on fishing tackle. As always, buyer be ware.
