The gelcoat is cracked around the rod holders. I am going to reinforce the areas below and reapply gelcoat to the entire surface. Gonna get busy with the sander today.

Wow. I think the old gelcoat was 1/4in thick. It took a long time with 60 grit to just get it to this point.
It was dipped down pretty bad around the rod holder holes so I mixed up some resin to build it back up. I am waiting for it to cure now then I will flip it over and reinforce everything from behind so it will not crack again.

I built up the areas that were low with resin. I have the right 2 holes sanded in this pic.
Backside sanded with 60 and wiped off real good with acetone.
2 layers of glass and about 8 oz’s of resin. Pic is after 1 layer.
