Fished my 22’ CC yesterday with just me and my dad for crew and left the hill at 3:30. Had’em in at 5:30 just east and offshore of the hole. Trolled south and all was quiet til 6:45 when the planner rod went off and before I could clear the rest of them we were doubled. With only one rod left in the water we turned towards the two fish and went to work. Just before we got color on the first fish, the long rigger started to scream. Put the first two of the tripple in the boat and I went to work on the third fish (which by this point had nearly dumped a 50 wide). 25 minutes later my fish was at the stern and we dragged her over the side too. 3 for 3 on a tripple with fish from 25, 40, and 81lbs. Fished til 11 with only one more bite and headed home.
