Legacy Sea Era 192?

Does anyone have experience or know much about the Legacy Sea Era 192?

There is one for sale here near me that I looked at today. Just from looking, it looks like a nice hull and layout. This one has a 115hp 2-stroke on it that needs work, but my guess is once working good, it likely moves the boat along at a pretty good pace. It also has a trolling motor and live well.

Would be doing mostly creek and river fishing plus runs out to the jettys or just outside the jettys. This seems like a good value that might fit those needs.

■■■■■■■■ from anyone?

No ■■■■■■■■ from anyone here, but to update this thread… from online searches it seems like there is a lot of confusion and mis-information about the Sea Era (now SeaFox). I also spoke to some local marine mechanics/repair shops about this and other options. I don’t think the Sea Era a horrible boat, but lower-middle-class perhaps. Regardless, the Big Unknown of the motor is too much of a red flag so I decided to pass on this option.

I’m now looking at a couple Sea Hunt Triton 172s, which I’m told are a better boat and a pretty good match for the type of fishing I plan to do.

just saw this…You are right about the middle-class boat Sea Era…However I have a buddy who has one (kept very well) and it has been a very solid boat…The hull is in great shape and he has put it through a lot…I do believe there may be a spider crack or two, I’m not positive…hope this helps
