So my Trim Tabs are locked in the down position. They are not fully trimmed down, but at least halfway. I tried the breaker panel with no luck. They are not responding at all. Any idea what else I can try before I drop them off at the shop. Thanks in advance!!
This happened to one of mine about a year or two ago. Mine were Lencos too. The acuator went bad in mine. If you’ve checked the breakers with no luck, the next step would be to test your switch to see if it is bad or not. If the switch is good, then test the voltage going to the tabs themselves.
Is it making any noise at all when you hit the switch (for the tabs to go up or down)?

Call Lenco at 772-288-2662, and their customer service may be able to tell you how to do a reset with some sequence on the switches. When we have had lenco stuff break, they are usually pretty good about getting replacement parts out to you as well. They will want to hear about the problem so they can resolve it. Having the dealer do all that may take a bit more time than just calling yourself.
they are not making any noises. that leads me to believe that it is an electrical issue.
Phin - spoke to you last year about buying the Shearwater vs. the Scout. I have been happy ever since. I owe you a ride on the sled when I get it back on the pond.

I remember. Awesome that you are happy. How does that vmax do on oil? I have heard some people say the HPDI’s and vmax’s use a lot of oil as if it’s a bad thing. I think it’s good if they use enough oil not to blow up! Just curious what kind of oil usage it’s had for you.
