Let's talk about washdown pumps

I seem to get one day past the warranty period. Anybody have a good recommendation besides this one??

I think they are all terrible so I went w/ the cheapest I could find (link below) and its lasted a couple years already with light use.

Seemed to be the same exact design as the Jabsco that failed after a 1 year.

Johnson Aquajet 5.2gpm at 70psi.

They all rust and fail early. Expect 3 years of use before replacing.
Just how it is.
Have yet to find one that lasts.

Johnson $132

Cant beat a 5 gal bucket on a rope and a teenager to operate it!

$36k for that pump seems a little high. Even with the discount.

After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.

I will take (2) at $36k “ooh what a bargain” in my best Chinese accent.
I buy mine from West Marine, they will price match so long as the same model and you can buy their extended warrantee pretty cheap worth just caring in a bad pump and walking out with a brand new one every couple of years.
