Anyone out there using one of these? How do they stack up to a VX3?
The illuminated reticle, ballistic aiming system and 30mm tube are an interesting combo…
Any input appreciated.

Lots of scopes offer those options. The scope itself is typical Leupold, good quality, priced higher than it should be due to marginal glass you can find in scopes costing less. Marginal light gathering capability and tight eye box and relief. Buy a Weaver Super Slam, same glass, better coatings, 1/2 the price. All SFP reticles are off unless you keep the magnification set on one setting, shoot your gun at various ranges to figure out where your ballistics intersect their millings. CDS dials only work with one load, change it, they’re off. IE; if you switch ammo or bullet weights in a factory round, it’s off. There’s more to it but that is the gist, it’s not a cure all solution for distance shooting.
There are a lot of optic options out there that are better buys for the money.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.
